How to Share a SAFEBOX document?
SAFEBOX is a digital platform that allows easy linking to the blockchain network. Users can upload, share, and verify the documents placed in the blockchain network.
Sharing a document in SAFEBOX is as easy as any other platform. All you need is a document and the recipient’s email address.
Requirements for sharing the documents.
It is very easy to share a SAFEBOX document.
There are only 2 things that you need when sharing a SAFEBOX document.
- Document
- Recipients Email-id
01. Document
For you to share any document, you need to have a record under your name. This is the no. 1 requirement for document sharing.
There is a simple uploading process. You can select the document you want to secure with the blockchain system, and upload it via the dashboard. And now you have your document ready to be shared.
02. Recipient
The next important criterion is to have the person whom you want to share the document on the blockchain system.
If these two conditions are fulfilled, you can go ahead and share the document with anyone.
Sharing Process
There are 2 methods to share the document with the person on the blockchain system. Below are some of the steps that you can take to share the record-
- Initial upload
- Adding collaborators later
01. Initial upload
You can add the recipients at the time of uploading the document. When the uploading process takes place, you are prompted to add the recipient’s email id. Once you add the email id of the person you want to share the document with, they will be able to access the document.
Adding collaborators later
There can be times when you don’t want to share the record initially, but at some later point in time. In this case, you simply need to select the document and add the recipients with whom you want to share.
Steps
- Select the document from the SAFEBOX dashboard
- On the top right column click on sharing tab
- Here you can start adding or removing the email addresses of the recipients.
This method is used to share documents with people later. Please note this will only work if you already have the document placed in the blockchain system.
You can easily share the document with anyone present on the blockchain system, using SAFEBOX. All you need is a basic or premium plan based on your work requirements, and you are all set to enjoy the digital security.
